Lincoln has advised on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, shareholder arrangements and capital raisings, with an emphasis on cross border deals (often including advising on compliance with New Zealand’s Overseas Investment Act).  He has acted for a variety of capital market participants, including listed companies, private equity firms and major institutional investors.

Alongside his transactional work, Lincoln is experienced in advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including on financial markets compliance, securities law and commercial contracting matters.

Advising Contact Energy on its proposed NZ$2.3 billion (enterprise value) acquisition of NZX-listed Manawa Energy by way of scheme of arrangement. 

BGH Capital and Sixth Street proposed acquisition of Pushpay
Advising the consortium of BGH Capital and Sixth Street on their proposed NZ$1.5 billion acquisition of NZX and ASX-listed Pushpay Holdings Limited by way of scheme of arrangement.

Acquisition of Godfrey Hirst by Mohawk Industries
Advising Mohawk Industries. on New Zealand aspects of its acquisition of the Godfrey Hirst group (NZ$208 million for New Zealand components).
