Kate’s expertise lies on the establishment and operation of a variety of private equity and venture capital funds, and other aspects of private investing in alternative asset classes but more on the transactional side of complex transactions.
Kate has built her career within investment funds in private practice, initially working on infrastructure and real estate funds and then acting for large European and international sponsors raising mega funds.
Admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of New Zealand in 2014, Kate has worked as an associate for notable firms such as Ashurst, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and DLA Piper. She has recently returned to New Zealand in 2023 having spent 7 years working in London.
