Bell Gully co-hosts takeovers and mergers seminars
Bell Gully will today host a seminar in Auckland for New Zealand corporates on takeovers and mergers.
The Auckland session, co-hosted with investment bankers Cameron Partners and the NZX, follows a successful seminar on the same topic in Wellington last week.
The seminars, which have attracted more than 80 participants including directors, CEOs and CFOs from some of New Zealand's top companies, are aimed at providing insight into the complex and high value judgements that are part of the preparation for, and response to, takeovers and mergers.
Speakers and panellists, including Bell Gully corporate partners James Gibson and Andrew Brown, are addressing a range of issues including the opportunities and risks that arise from takeovers and mergers.
Merger and acquisition activity has been a dominant feature of the New Zealand and global business environment over recent years.
