Bell Gully presents Niu Sila - two kids, two cultures, one street
Bell Gully is sponsoring the premiere season of Niu Sila presented by Downstage Theatre in Wellington from 2 April to 1 May.
The play is by two of New Zealand's top comedy writers' Oscar Kightley (Naked Samoans, Sportzah!) and Dave Armstrong (The Semisis, Spin Doctors, Fly Me to the Moon).
Niu Sila explores two colliding cultures in a friendship that spans 30 years and features Damon Andrews and Dave Fane, directed by Conrad Newport.
Maggie Callicrate, Bell Gully Chief Executive says "We have been delighted to support home-grown theatre talent and new drama for the last three years . Through our sponsorship of Downstage, we have been involved in three New Zealand premieres in succession - an enriching experience for all involved."
