Team modelling seminar helps to build in-house teams

Participants at the first Bell Gully-CLANZ seminars for in-house lawyers learned how to model the perfect in-house legal function on 1 and 2 July.

The seminars were the first in the series Building a Successful In-house Team and were presented by leading HR consultant John Robertson, Mike Lennard, Director of Litigation at the Inland Revenue and legal consultant Philip Griffiths at Bell Gully's offices in Wellington and Auckland.

During the evening, John explained the ground rules for team selection, development and restructuring, while Mike and Phil based their presentations on their practical experience in restructuring and building in-house legal functions from scratch.
