Tim is an experienced litigator specialising in corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency and creditors’ remedies, and urgent emergency relief.
He has acted on New Zealand’s longest running insider trading case for the past three years, as well as several high value insolvency cases, including a debt restructuring and work out case in Hong Kong worth US$3 billion and a complex cross-border insolvency case in multiple jurisdictions in the Eastern Caribbean.
He is a member of LEADR, an Australasian organisation that promotes and facilitates the use of alternative dispute resolution processes, and INSOL, the international association of lawyers and accountants working in turnaround and insolvency.
Tim has worked in Hong Kong with Baker & McKenzie and in the British Virgin Islands with Harney Westwood & Riegels. He has also worked at other leading law firms in New Zealand.
