Mathew advises New Zealand and offshore clients on all aspects of New Zealand tax law

Mathew has been a member of the Bell Gully tax team since 2001. He advises on all aspects of corporate taxation law, including mergers and acquisitions, structured finance transactions, employee share and option plans, debt securitisations, tax discourses in offer documentation and tax clauses in share sale agreements.

He has also assisted in obtaining binding rulings from the Inland Revenue Department on a range of complex issues and has advised on a number of disputes with the Inland Revenue Department.
