Katie specialises in banking and finance.
She has a broad range of expertise and experience across structured finance arrangements, public securities offers, corporate and consumer financing transactions and regulatory issues.
She is experienced in working on securitisation arrangements and tax structured financing transactions for major financial institutions and banks, providing them with specialist advice on consumer finance law and trade practice issues.
Katie advises various issuers, trustees and arrangers on public securities offers and both lenders and borrowers on project and acquisition finance arrangements. She also advises on corporate and financial regulatory issues.
Her expertise includes drafting and negotiating documentation for secured and unsecured debt funding transactions and capital markets programmes.
Katie joined Bell Gully in 2005 after working as legal counsel to a large New Zealand corporate and financial institution, and prior to that in the banking and finance team of another major New Zealand law firm.
