Haydn leads Bell Gully's corporate practice. He specialises in corporate and securities law with a focus on divestments and acquisitions, investment products, restructuring and company and commercial law.

In addition to advising on a full range of corporate matters, he has expertise in outsourcing and establishing and establishing and maintaining investment product offerings.

Haydn's work focuses on M&A transactions, including private equity, public company takeovers and restructuring, investment products and funds management and insurance, and energy and forestry-related projects.

Haydn joined Bell Gully in 1992 and is a partner in the corporate/commercial department based in Auckland. He worked first in the Wellington office before leaving for two years with Allen & Overy in London.

Chambers Asia Pacific 2013 names Haydn as a leading corporate lawyer, noting he is regarded by clients as "the person to go to, a very talented lawyer."
