Dean Oppenhuis

Dean is a corporate and commercial partner with a broad range of experience.

In particular, he works in meeting the corporate, commercial and contracting needs of the technology, telecommunications, media and services sectors.

His experience and skills cover a wide range of transactions and advice, from mergers and acquisitions, public offers, stock exchange listings, company and securities law, private equity and venture capital projects, to outsourcing, technology contracts and commercialisation of intellectual property.

A graduate of the University of Canterbury, Dean began his legal career in the US and has also spent two years working as a legal adviser at Fujitsu Services in London. At Fujitsu, he was involved in many outsourcing transactions and commercial and computer contracts, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and securities law matters. He was also involved in the business decision-making process for new projects.
