Her expertise includes public and private M&A transactions, including private equity transactions. Anna is also experienced in advising on stock exchange issues including securities offerings, takeovers and general compliance.

Her international experience includes working in the Dubai office of Clyde & Co and with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney.

Advised Ironbridge Capital, a leading independent Australasian private equity group, on its takeover of all the shares and options in New Zealand media company CanWest MediaWorks. Ironbridge's offer to acquire all of the shares in MediaWorks followed a highly contested bidding process for CanWest's 70% stake.

Woolworths Australia
Acted for Woolworths in the on-market acquisition of a 10% stake in discount retailer The Warehouse. This overnight share purchase involved a significant strategic stake in a New Zealand icon in general merchandise.

T3 Global Public Offering
Advised Australian telecommunications company Telstra and the Commonwealth of Australia on the New Zealand public offer of the T3 Global Public Offering, including obtaining Securities Act exemptions.

Mainfreight transactions
Advised New Zealand logistics company Mainfreight on the sale of its 75% share of international freight forwarding company LEP International and on the sale of Australian-based Pan Orient Project Logistics to global logistics company Agility Group. Also advised Mainfreight on the acquisition of US-based Target Logistics Inc., a listed US and international freight forwarder.

Archer Capital
Advised Archer Capital on the acquisition of the Fosters Wine Club businesses in New Zealand, Cardmember Wines and Carters Services. Also advised Archer Capital on its acquisition of Onesource Group.
