Andrew is a commercial property lawyer with extensive expertise in broader corporate and commercial matters.
His experience includes real estate and business acquisitions and divestments, leasing, project developments and finance, construction, joint venture and shareholder arrangements and property insolvency/restructuring. He also has considerable expertise on New Zealand's overseas investment laws, was a co-presenter of the New Zealand Law Society seminar on the Overseas Investment Act and was appointed as a member of the Technical Reference Group for the Review of the Overseas Investment Act 2005.
Prior to joining Bell Gully in 2003, he spent two years in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Chambers Asia Pacific 2013 ranks Andrew in the top tier of lawyers in the real estate industry. Clients praise him as being "a very good lawyer in property" and state "he really knows his stuff."
